✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he mounted his camel setting out on a journey, said takbir three times and said: 'Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, for we were not capable of it; and to our Lord we shall return. O Allah, we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness and piety and from deeds what pleases You. O Allah, make this journey of ours easy for us, and fold up its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion in the journey and the Successor over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, the gloominess of the scene, and the evil turn of affairs in family and property.' And when he returned, he said these words and added among them: 'Returning, repentant, worshipping, to our Lord praising.'
