أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَنْعَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ جَشِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَنْعُمَ الْجُبْلَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ جَشِيبٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقَالَ عَمْرٌو كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا شَبِعَ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ قَالَ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرُ مَكْفُورٍ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ» وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ وَلَا مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَحْمَدَ

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ—and Amr said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ—was full from food, he would say, "Praise be to Allah, much good blessed praise, not denied nor abandoned." And Ahmad said, "neither sufficient nor dispensed with," and the wording is Ahmad's.
