أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ طَعَامٌ فَقَالَ «ادْنُهْ يَا بُنَيَّ فَسَمِّ اللهَ وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ»

Translation

✧ He entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he had food with him, and he said, "Come near, my dear son, pronounce the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you."
