Sahih Muslim 57d

Clarifying that faith decreases because of disobedience and negating it from the one committing the act of disobedience, with the meaning of negating its completion

وَحَدَّثَنِي حَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ مَوْلَى مَيْمُونَةَ وَحُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

Translation

Imam Muslim has reported this hadith by Hasan b. 'Ali al-Halwani and other traditions.
