al-Harith b. Abu Rabiah and Abdullah b. Safwan entered upon Umm Salamah, the Mother of the Believers, and I was with them. They asked her about the army that would be swallowed by the earth, and this took place during the days of Ibn al-Zubayr. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Someone seeking refuge will take refuge in the House, and an army will be sent against him. When they reach an open plain, they will be swallowed by the earth." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about someone among them who is unwilling?" He said: "He will be swallowed along with them, but on the Day of Resurrection he will be raised according to his intention."

Notes
