The Taking Away Of Knowledge And The Spread Of Ignorance At The End Of Time

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيَنْقُصُ الْعِلْمُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah
  2. ʿAbd al-Aʿlá
  3. Maʿmar
  4. al-Zuhrī
  5. Saʿīd
  6. Abū Hurayrah
  7. al-Nabī ﷺ

The time would draw close to the Last Hour and knowledge would decrease. The rest of the hadith is the same.
