حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقْبَضَ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَتَقَارَبَ الزَّمَانُ، وَتَكْثُرَ الزَّلَازِلُ، وَتَظْهَرَ الْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ، قَالَ: الْهَرْجُ أَيُّمَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ.

✧ The Hour will not come until knowledge is taken away, time contracts, earthquakes increase, tribulations appear, and killing becomes widespread. He said: 'What is killing, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Slaughter, slaughter.'
