✧ In you is a likeness of 'Isa: the Jews hated him until they slandered his mother, and the Christians loved him until they placed him in a position that was not his. Then he said, 'Two men will perish concerning me: an excessive lover who praises me for what is not in me, and a hater whose hatred drives him to slander me.'
