✧ We asked 'Ali about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the day. He said, 'You cannot bear that.' We said, 'Whoever among us can bear it?' He said, 'When the sun was there, as it is there at 'asr, he would pray two rak'ahs. When the sun was there, as it is there at zuhr, he would pray four. He would pray four before zuhr, and two after it, and four before 'asr, and he would separate every two rak'ahs with the taslim upon the angels brought near, the prophets, and those who followed them among the believers and the Muslims.'
