أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَعَفَّانُ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعُشَرَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمَا تَكُونُ الذَّكَاةُ إِلَّا فِي الْحَلْقِ وَاللَّبَّةِ؟ فَقَالَ «لَوْ طَعَنْتَ فِي فَخِذِهَا لَأَجْزَأَ عَنْكَ»
Translation

✧ I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is slaughtering only in the throat and the upper chest?" He said, "If you had stabbed it in its thigh, it would have sufficed you."
