✧ He cooked a pot for the Prophet ﷺ, and he said to him, 'Hand me its foreleg,' and he liked the foreleg. He handed him the foreleg, then said, 'Hand me the foreleg,' and he handed him a foreleg. Then he said, 'Hand me the foreleg,' and I said, 'O Prophet of Allah, how many forelegs does a sheep have?' He said, 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, if you had remained silent, I would have been given forelegs for as long as I called for them.'
