✧ Abu Talha commanded Umm Sulaim to prepare food for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he could eat. Then Abu Talha sent me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so I went to him and said, "Abu Talha has sent me to you." He ordered the people to stand up, so they stood up and Abu Talha said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have made this food specifically for you." He replied, "No, go ahead." So I left and the people left with me. Abu Talha said, "Bring the food." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand on it and invoked Allah's blessings upon it, then he said, "Give permission to ten people." He gave them permission and said, "Eat in the name of Allah." They ate until they were full and then they got up. He placed his hand on it as he had done previously, invoked Allah's blessings upon it, and then said, "Give permission to ten people." He gave them permission and said, "Eat in the name of Allah." They ate until they were full and then they got up. He did this with eighty men. He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate, and the people of his household ate, and they left some food."
