Prostration while Reciting the Qur’an - Section 1
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَجَدْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي: (إِذا السَّمَاء انشقت) و (اقْرَأ باسم رَبك) رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Translation
Abu Huraira said: We prostrated ourselves along with the Prophet on account of “When the sky is rent asunder”, Al-Qur’an; 84) and “Recite in the name of your Lord” (Al-Qur’an; 96). Muslim transmitted it.
