حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي {إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ} وَ {اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ}

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah
  2. Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah
  3. Ayyūb b. Mūsá
  4. ʿAṭāʾ b. Mīnāʾ
  5. Abū Hurayrah

“We prostrated with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in “When the heaven is split asunder” [84:1] and “Read! In the Name of your Lord.” [96:1]
