✧ The Two Eid Prayers

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ: [ أَنَّهُ] سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ دِينَارٍ يُحَدِّثُ

أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ، وَيَأْمُرُ مَنْ حَوْلَهُ أَنْ يُكَبِّرُوا ; عَمَلًا بِقَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمْ مَنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ

Translation

✧ On the day of departure from Mina, Ibn Abbas ؓ used to say the takbir and command those around him to say the takbir, acting upon the words of the Exalted: 'When you have completed your rites, remember Allah.'
