✧ I came to Abu al-Darda' ؓ during the illness in which he died, and he said: 'O son of my brother, what brought you to these lands, and what concerned you about them?' I said: 'Nothing concerned me except maintaining the connection between you and my father.' Abu al-Darda' ؓ said: 'What a bad time for a lie this is. I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "Whoever performs ablution, then stands and prays two rak'ahs or four rak'ahs, obligatory or non-obligatory, performing bowing and prostration completely in them, then asks God for forgiveness, except that He will forgive him."'
