✧ When one of you intends a matter, let him say: 'O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek Your power by Your might, and I ask You of Your immense bounty. For You have power and I have none, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if this matter—whatever it is that I intend—is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my ultimate end, then decree it for me and facilitate it for me and bless me in it. But if it is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my ultimate end, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.' There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
