✧ What is said after the prayer

- وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ نُصَيْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ؓ قَالَ:

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ

Translation

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointing with his finger during the prayer, and when he gave salam, I heard him say: 'O Allah, I ask You for all good, what I know of it and what I do not know, and I seek refuge in You from all evil, what I know of it and what I do not know.'
