✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was praying in my house, and Ali b. Abi Talib ؓ came and stood beside him on his right. A scorpion approached the Prophet ﷺ, but when it drew near to him, it was turned away. Then it approached Ali, so he took a sandal and killed it while he was praying. When he finished his prayer, he said ؓ: 'May God fight it! It approached the Prophet ﷺ and was turned away from him, then it came toward me.' The Messenger of God ﷺ did not see any harm in killing it during prayer.
