✧ Bowing, prostration, and the remembrance in them

وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا سَجَدَ الْعَبْدُ سَجَدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ آرَابٍ: وَجْهِهِ، وَكَفَّيْهِ، وَرُكْبَتَيْهِ، وَقَدَمَيْهِ، فَمَا لَمْ يَصْنَعْ: فَقَدِ انْتَقَصَ

Translation

✧ When a servant prostrates, he prostrates on seven parts: his face, his two palms, his two knees, and his two feet. Whatever he does not do, he has fallen short.
