✧ Recitation in prayer and the reason for shortening it

- وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ:

مَنْ قَرَأَ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ أَجْزَأَ عَنْهُ، وَإِنْ زَادَ مَعَهَا شَيْئًا فَهُوَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ

Translation

  5. Abū Hurayrah

✧ Whoever recites in the obligatory prayer the Opening of the Book, it suffices him, and if he adds with it something, it is more beloved to me.
