✧ Yajuj and Majuj

حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ؓ، فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا مَرْفُوعًا، قَالَ:

ثُمَّ أَنْشَأَ يُحَدِّثُنَا: إِنَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِنْ وَلَدِ آدَمَ، وَإِنَّهُمْ لَوْ أُرْسِلُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ لَأَفْسَدُوا مَعَايِشَهُمْ، وَلَنْ يَمُوتَ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا تَرَكَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ أَلْفًا فَصَاعِدًا، وَإِنَّ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ ثَلَاثَ أُمَمٍ: تَاوِيلَ، وَتَارِيسَ، وَمَنْسَكَ

Translation

  4. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr Fadhakar Ḥadīth Marfūʿ

✧ Then he began to tell us: Yajuj and Majuj are from the children of Adam. If they were unleashed upon the people, they would corrupt their livelihoods. None of them dies except that he leaves from his offspring a thousand or more. Behind them are three nations: Tawil, Taris, and Mansak.
