✧ The Dajjal, when he emerges, will emerge from the direction of the east. His armies and his outposts will become numerous, and no one will reach him except one who says: "I am a delegate." So a man will come and say: "I am a delegate." When the Dajjal sees him, he will say: "Son of Adam, do you not know that I am your lord?" He will say: "No, you are the enemy of Allah, the Dajjal." He will say: "Then I will kill you." He will say: "Even if you kill me." He said: Then he will take a saw and place it between his forelock, and split him into two halves. Then he will say to those around him: "How do you see it if I revive him?" They will say: "That is when we will be certain that you are our lord." He said: Then he will revive him. He will say to him: "Son of Adam, you claimed that I am not your lord." He will say: "I was never more certain of insight about you than now." He will say: "I will slaughter you." He will say: "Even if you slaughter me." He said: Then he will intend to slaughter him but will not be able to slaughter him. Then he will say from beneath him: "If you are truthful, then slaughter me." At that point his armies will doubt him, and Ibn Maryam ﷺ will descend upon him. When he sees him and smells his scent, he will melt as lead melts.
