وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْغَنَوِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ رَأْسَ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ أُتِيَ بِهِ إِلَى عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، وَرَأَيْتُ رَأْسَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ أُتِيَ بِهِ إِلَى الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، وَرَأَيْتُ رَأْسَ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ أُتِيَ بِهِ إِلَى مُصْعَبِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَرَأَيْتُ رَأْسَ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أُتِيَ بِهِ إِلَى عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ
