وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْهَجَنَّعِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ:
قِيلَ لَهُ: مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُقَاتِلَ مَعَ نُصْرَتِكَ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ ؟ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: يَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ هَلْكَى لَا يُفْلِحُونَ، قَائِدُهُمُ امْرَأَةٌ، قَائِدُهُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

✧ It was said to him: What prevented you from fighting with your supporters on the Day of the Camel? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A people will come out who are doomed and will not succeed; their leader is a woman, and their leader will be in Paradise.
