قَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، قَالَ:
إِنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ اخْتَصَمَا إِلَى أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ؓ فِي شِبْرٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، فَقَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي أَرْضٍ فَسَمِعْتَ رَجُلَيْنِ يَخْتَصِمَانِ فِي شِبْرٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا. قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ فَأَتَى الشَّامَ
Translation

✧ Two men disputed before Abu al-Darda' ؓ over a span of land. Abu al-Darda' said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'If you are in a land and you hear two men disputing over a span of land, leave it.' He said: So Abu al-Darda' left and went to Syria.
