✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ vowed to retreat in seclusion for a month, he and Khadijah, and that coincided with the month of Ramadan. One night the Prophet ﷺ went out and heard, 'Peace be upon you.' He said: I thought it was a sudden encounter with the jinn. I came quickly until I entered upon Khadijah, and she covered me with a garment and said, 'What is the matter with you, O son of Abdullah?' He mentioned the hadith in a similar way until he said: Until we came to five verses of it, and I did not forget anything after that. Then he weighed me against a man, and I outweighed him. Then he weighed me against another, and I outweighed him, until I was weighed against a hundred men. Mikail ﷺ said from above, 'His nation has followed him, by the Lord of the Kaaba.'
