✧ I was a young boy of seven or eight years, hearing what I saw and understanding, when a Jew appeared on a fortress crying out at the top of his voice: 'O assembly of Jews!' They gathered to him and said, 'What is the matter with you?' He said, 'The star of Ahmad, with which he was born, rose tonight.' He said: I asked Sa'id b. 'Abd al-Rahman b. Hassan b. Thabit: 'How old was Hassan b. Thabit when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Madinah?' He said: 'Sixty years old.'
