Translation

✧ Khalid ibn al-Walid ؓ encamped near the marzbans, and they said to him: Beware of poison, lest the non-Arabs give it to you to drink. He ؓ said: Bring it to me. It was brought, and he took it in his hand, then swallowed it, and said: In the name of God. It did not harm him at all.
