وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ؓ قَالَتْ:
وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَفِي بَيْتِي ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابُهُ ؓ فِي الْفِنَاءِ، وَالسِّتْرُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ، إِذْ أَقْبَلَ طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ ؓ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ يَمْشِي عَلَى الْأَرْضِ قَدْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى طَلْحَةَ ؓ

✧ By Allah, I was in my house one day, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his Companions ؓ were in the courtyard, with a curtain between me and them, when Talhah b. Ubayd Allah ؓ came. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever is pleased to look at a man walking on the earth who has fulfilled his vow, let him look at Talhah ؓ.'
