حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ أَصَابَنِي السَّهْمُ فَقُلْتُ حِسِّ فَقَالَ لَوْ قُلْتَ بِسْمِ اللهِ لَطَارَتْ بِكَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالنَّاسُ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Yaḥyá b. ʿUthmān b. Ṣāliḥ
  2. Sulaymān b. Ayyūb from my father from my father
  3. Mūsá b. Ṭalḥah from his father

✧ On the day of Uhud, an arrow struck me and I said: “Hiss!” He said: “If you had said: In the name of Allah, the angels would have flown with you while the people were looking at you.”
