✧ A man from the Muhajirun entered upon Abu Bakr while he was suffering in his illness and said to him: "You have appointed Umar over us, and he has been harsh with us even without authority. So how will it be when he rules over us? He will be even harsher and harsher. What will you say to Allah when you meet Him?" Abu Bakr said: "Sit me up." So they sat him up. He said: "Are you trying to frighten me with Allah? Do you know me? I will say when I meet Him: 'I appointed over them the best of Your people.'"
