✧ Some people of Quraysh rode the sea at the time of the Prophet's ﷺ mission, and the wind cast them upon an island among the islands of the sea. There was a man on it. He said: 'Who are you?' They said: 'We are people of Quraysh.' He said: 'What is Quraysh?' They said: 'The people of the Sanctuary, and the people of such and such.' When he understood, he said: 'We are its people, not you.' And it turned out he was a man of Jurhum. He said: 'Do you know why Ajyad was named that? Our horses were excellent and returned to it.' He said: 'Then they said: A man has emerged among us claiming to be a prophet,' and they mentioned his affair to him. He said: 'Follow him. Were it not for my present condition, I would have joined you to go to him.'
