قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، وَإِسْحَاقُ، قَالَا: ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُبَيْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ - ؓ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ الْبَعِيرِ، قَالَ جَابِرٌ ؓ:

فَلَقِيتُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِالَّذِي كَانَ، فَجَعَلَ يَتَعَجَّبُ، وَيَقُولُ: أَعْطَاكَ الثَّمَنَ، وَرَدَّ عَلَيْكَ الْبَعِيرَ
