قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ - ؓ قَالَ:
لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللهِ - أَقْبَلَ بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ: أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَحْدَثْنَا ؟ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ صَنَعْنَا ؟
