✧ That toward which one may pray and that toward which one may not

قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ]، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَا: ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ:
( كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي إِلَى قَبْرٍ، فَرَآنِي عُمَرُ ؓ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: الْقَبْرَ، الْقَبْرَ، فَجَعَلْتُ لَا أَفْهَمُ مَا يُرِيدُ، فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، فَقَالَ: الْقَبْرُ أَمَامَكَ
Translation

✧ (I was praying toward a grave, and 'Umar ؓ saw me and began saying: "The grave, the grave." I did not understand what he meant, so I raised my head toward the sky, and he said: "The grave is in front of you."
