✧ Invoking Blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ

وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُنِيبٍ، عَنِ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ طَيِّئٍ، وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا قَالَ:

« كُنْتُ أَسْأَلُ اللهَ تَعَالَى أَنْ يُرِيَنِي الِاسْمَ الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ مَكْتُوبًا فِي الْكَوَاكِبِ فِي السَّمَاءِ: يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

Translation

✧ "I kept asking God Almighty to show me the Name by which if He is called, He answers. I saw it written among the stars in the sky: 'O Originator of the heavens and the earth, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.'"
