وَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ؓ، قَالَ:
( كَانَ عَامَّةُ مَنْ يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَصْحَابَ الْعُقَدِ ). قُلْتُ: وَمَا أَصْحَابُ الْعُقَدِ ؟ قَالَ: ( لَمْ يَكُنْ لِأَحَدِهِمْ إِلَّا ثَوْبٌ كَانَ يَعْقِدُهُ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ
Translation

✧ Most of those who prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were the people of knots.” I said: “And who are the people of knots?” He said: “One of them had only a single garment which he tied at his neck.”
