قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ سَبْرَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ، يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ:
« إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُعْطِي الدُّنْيَا عَلَى نِيَّةِ الْآخِرَةِ، وَلَا يُعْطِي الْآخِرَةَ عَلَى نِيَّةِ الدُّنْيَا
