حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، أَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ آبَائِهِ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
« أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَكْيَسُ ؟ » قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ. قَالَ ﷺ: « إِنَّ أَكْيَسَ النَّاسِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْمَوْتِ ذِكْرًا، وَأَحْسَنُهُمْ لِلهِ اسْتِعْدَادًا
Translation

✧ 'Which of the people is most astute?' I said: 'God and His Messenger know best.' He ﷺ said: 'The most astute of people is the one who remembers death most and is best prepared for God.'
