✧ I entered the mosque of Iliya and prayed two rak'ahs facing a pillar. A man came and prayed nearby, and the people inclined toward him. He was 'Abd Allah b. 'Amr b. al-'As ؓ. Then a messenger of Yazid b. Mu'awiyah came saying, 'Respond!' He said: 'This one wants to forbid me from narrating as his father used to forbid me. Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say...' Then he mentioned a hadith.
