✧ The times when prayer is forbidden

وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ [السَّامِيُّ ]، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى [ أَنَّ ] قُرَّةَ بْنَ أَبِي قُرَّةَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا أُسَيْدٍ حَدَّثَهُ:

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ، فَزَجَرَهُ، وَقَالَ: لَا تُصَلِّ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: « لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ

Translation

✧ He saw a man praying after ʿAsr and rebuked him, saying: Do not pray after ʿAsr, for I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'There is no prayer after ʿAsr.'
