حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَبَّاطِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُتَلَقَّى الرُّكْبَانُ، أَوْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ، وَلَا يَخْطُبْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يَنْكِحَ أَوْ يَدَعَ. وَلَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ، وَلَا بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ تَضْحَى.

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade meeting caravans, and a resident selling for a bedouin, and any of you proposing to a woman to whom his brother has proposed until he marries or gives up. And there is no prayer after ‘Asr until the sun sets, and none after Fajr until the sun rises or is high.
