✧ We returned from the funeral of Rafi' b. Khadij ؓ after the morning prayer, and al-Walid b. 'Utbah was in charge of the people. He wanted to pray over it, so Ibn 'Umar ؓ stood and shouted at the top of his voice: "Do not pray over your deceased until the sun has risen." So the commander and the people sat down.
