✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say when he asked him: 'What is faith, O Messenger of Allah?' He ﷺ said: 'Faith is that you believe in Allah, the Exalted, and His Messenger.' Then he asked him a second time and he said the same. Then he asked him a third time and he said: 'Would you like me to tell you what pure faith is?' He said: 'That is what I wanted.' He ﷺ said: 'Pure faith is that when you do wrong or oppress anyone—your servant, your slave woman, or any of the Muslims—you give charity and fast, and when you do good you rejoice.'
