✧ While I was drawing water tonight, some black sheep and some light-colored sheep came to me. Abu Bakr ؓ came and drew a bucket or two, in which there was weakness; may Allah forgive him. Then 'Umar ؓ came and turned it into a large bucket, filled the troughs and quenched the drinkers. I have never seen a stronger man among people draw water better than him. I interpreted the black sheep as the Arabs and the light-colored sheep as the non-Arabs.
