وَقَالَ الْبَزَّارُ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِلَفْظِ:

رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ بُشْرَى مِنَ اللهِ تَعَالَى، وَجُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ قَالَ: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ: قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: جُزْءٌ مِنْ خَمْسِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ.

Translation

✧ The dream of a believer is glad tidings from Allah Most High, and one of forty-six parts of prophethood. He said: I narrated it to Ibn 'Abbas ؓ, and he said: Al-'Abbas b. 'Abd al-Muttalib told me: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: One of fifty parts of prophethood.
