He will not leave this world until Allah, exalted is He, disgraces him and exposes his private parts to onlookers on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever harms his neighbor without right, Allah has forbidden Paradise to him and his abode is the Fire. Indeed, Allah, exalted is He, will ask a man about his neighbor just as He asks him about the rights of his household. Whoever neglects the right of his neighbor is not from us. Whoever spends the night with deceit in his heart towards his Muslim brother spends the night and morning in the wrath of Allah, exalted is He, until he repents and returns. If he dies upon that, he dies upon other than Islam." Then he ﷺ said: "Indeed, whoever deceives us is not from us," until he said that three times. "Whoever backbites a Muslim, his fast is invalidated and his ablution is broken. If he dies while doing so, he dies like one who regards as lawful what Allah, exalted is He, has forbidden. Whoever walks with tale-bearing between two people, Allah, exalted is He, will set upon him in his grave a fire that burns him until the Day of Resurrection, then He will enter him into the Fire. Whoever pardons his Muslim brother and suppresses his anger, Allah, exalted is He, will give him the reward of a martyr. Whoever transgresses against his brother, acts arrogantly towards him, and despises him, Allah, exalted is He, will gather him on the Day of Resurrection in the form of a small ant, and the servants will trample him with their feet, then he will enter the Fire, and he will remain in the wrath of Allah until he dies. Whoever defends his Muslim brother's honor from backbiting he hears mentioned about him in a gathering, Allah, exalted is He, will repel from him a thousand doors of evil in this world and the Hereafter. If he does not defend him and is pleased with what they say, he will bear the same burden of evil as their sin. Whoever says to his slave, or someone else's slave, or any Muslim: 'No labbayka and no sa'dayka (i.e., I will not answer your call),' he will plunge into the Fire. Whoever harms a Muslim is not from us and we are not from him in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever hears of an indecent act and spreads it is like the one who committed it. Whoever hears of a good deed and spreads it is like the one who did it. Whoever honors his Muslim brother only honors his Lord, so what do you think? Whoever has two faces and two tongues in this world, Allah will give him two faces and two tongues in the Fire. Whoever walks in severing relations between two people bears a burden of sin equal to the reward given to one who reconciles between two people, and the curse is incumbent upon him until he enters Hell, where the punishment will be multiplied for him. Whoever walks in helping his Muslim brother and benefiting him will have the reward of the fighters in the path of Allah, exalted is He. Whoever walks in backbiting him and spreading his faults, the first step he takes is as if he places it in Hell, and his private parts will be exposed on the Day of Resurrection before the heads of all creatures. Whoever walks to a relative or a womb-relative for a need or an illness he has, Allah, exalted is He, will give him the reward of a hundred martyrs. If he also maintains ties with him, he will have for every step forty thousand good deeds, and by it forty million sins will be erased from him, and forty million degrees will be raised for him, and it is as if he worshipped Allah, exalted is He, for a hundred thousand years. Whoever walks in spreading corruption among relatives and severing ties between them, Allah is angry with him and curses him, and he bears the sin of one who severs the womb. Whoever works to separate a woman from her husband, the curse of Allah is upon him in this world and the Hereafter, and Allah has forbidden him from looking at His face. Whoever leads a blind man to the mosque, or to his home, or to any of his needs, the reward of freeing a slave is written for him for every step he raises or lowers, and the angels send blessings upon him until he parts from him. Whoever walks with a blind man to fulfill a need until it is accomplished, Allah will give him a clearance from the Fire and a clearance from hypocrisy, and Allah, exalted is He, will fulfill for him seventy thousand needs of this world, and he will remain immersed in mercy until he returns. Whoever walks to help a weak person in a need or benefit, Allah, exalted is He, will give him his book in his right hand. Whoever neglects his family and severs his womb, Allah, exalted is He, will deprive him of the best reward on the day He rewards the doers of good, and he will be gathered with the destroyed ones, until he comes with a way out, and how can there be a way out? Whoever relieves his brother of a distress of this world, Allah will relieve him of the distresses of this world and the Hereafter, and He will look at him with a look of mercy by which he will attain Paradise. Whoever walks in reconciling a woman and her husband, he will have the reward of a thousand martyrs truly killed in the path of Allah, and for every step he will have the worship of seventy years: its fasting and its night prayers. Whoever does a favor to his brother and then reminds him of it, he has nullified his reward and disappointed his efforts. Indeed, Allah, exalted is He, has forbidden Paradise to the one who reminds of favors, the miser, the arrogant, the tale-bearer, the gluttonous oppressor, the rude and boastful, the harsh and cruel, the bastard, and the habitual drunkard. Whoever builds a structure on the side of a road to shelter the wayfarer, Allah will send him on the Day of Resurrection with a pearl on his forehead and his face shining for the people of the gathering, until they say: This is one of the angels, and its like will not be seen until he crowds with Ibrahim ﷺ in Paradise, and by his intercession forty thousand men will enter Paradise. Whoever digs a well until its water springs forth and makes it available for the Muslims, he will have the reward of those who perform ablution from it and pray, and for every hair of every one who drinks from it, human or jinn, beast or wild animal or bird, or other than that, he will have good deeds, and for every hair in that he will have the freeing of a slave, and on the Day of Resurrection his intercession will bring to the Pond, the Pond of Holiness, the number of the stars of the sky." It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the Pond of Holiness? He ﷺ said: "My Pond, my Pond, my Pond. Whoever intercedes for his brother in a need of his, Allah looks at him, and it is incumbent upon Allah, exalted is He, not to punish a servant He has looked at, if that was at his request to intercede for him. If he intercedes for him without his request, he has, in addition to that, the reward of seventy martyrs. Whoever visits his Muslim brother, he has for every step until he returns the freeing of a hundred thousand slaves, the erasure of a hundred thousand sins, and a hundred thousand degrees are written for him." We said to Abu Hurayrah: Did not the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever frees a slave, it is his ransom from the Fire"? He said: Yes, and the rest of it is raised for him in the treasures of the Throne with his Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He. This hadith in its entirety is fabricated upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the one accused of it is Maysarah b. 'Abd Rabbihi, may he not be blessed.
