✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit one day. When he placed his foot on the lowest step, he said: “Amin.” Then he placed his foot ﷺ on the second, and said: “Amin.” Then he placed his foot ﷺ on the third step, and said: “Amin.” When he ﷺ finished his sermon and descended, they said: “O Messenger of Allah, you did such and such?” He ﷺ said: “Indeed Jibril ﷺ came to me when I placed my foot on the lowest step and said: ‘O Muhammad, whoever reaches his two parents or one of them and is not forgiven, then dies and enters the Fire, may Allah distance him. Say: Amin.’ I said: ‘Amin.’”
