✧ Dislike of withholding surplus water

قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الصَّايِغِ، عَنْ قَهْرَمَانَ لِسَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ؓ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

مَنْ مَنَعَ فَضْلَ مَاءٍ مَنَعَهُ اللهُ فَضْلَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ Whoever withholds surplus water, Allah will withhold His surplus from him on the Day of Resurrection.
